Access From Newton Stewart, follow the A714 south from the A75 roundabout. Turn right after 6 miles onto the B7005 to Bladnoch. Cross the bridge at the distillery towards Whithorn and after 400 yards turn right again onto the B7005 towards Glenluce. Crailloch Moss Wood is reached via a shared road, shown as A1-A3.

From A1 the access road heads north from the B7005 to White Dyke Farm. At A2, there is a locked gate leading onto a good forest road through Corsemalzie Forest. This forest road runs for approximately 2.5 miles to the northern edge of the wood, shown as A3. It continues for a short distance into the property. The B7005 public road is suitable for timber haulage, linking with either the A714 or A747, which, in turn, links with the A75.

The crops have been relatively slow to develop especially where the ground conditions are wet and drainage is poor.
